"Everything should be made as simple as possible, but not simpler."

Einstein

Why this site?

I love learning. Unfortunately, sometimes things are hard to understand. I pace, think, eat, sleep, and finally it hits me. That feeling of understanding and ensuing satisfaction is incredible. There are many "ah-ha!" epiphanies that I want to share.

Many concepts in math and science are inherently simple in hindsight. But they are often presented in a complicated and formal way, turning people away or making them lose track of the big picture. The high-level concepts are important.

I want to focus on the intuition behind the concepts. This serves as an introduction for the casual reader and also helps those formally studying the subject.

About me

My name is Kalid, I'm a senior at Princeton and a huge Simpsons and Led Zeppelin fan. I like chilling with my friends, the PHOJA clan, and the other people I meet in my life's journeys. Computers and books are nice, but family and friends are better =).

About the site

I've decided that a simple, elegant design (akin to the philosophy of the articles) is hard -- very hard. I've tried to do my best, and that will have to do. It's made using Dreamweaver, style sheets, and shell scripts to help create articles (such as Latex or text to html).

It gets a few thousand hits a week, and I get a few emails a week.
